About Sunland Springs Village

Farnsworth has been building active adult communities in Mesa since 1959. In fact, Sunland Springs Village is the 4th such community built by award-winning Farnsworth Development.

In the Arizona homebuilding industry, the Farnsworth name is synonymous with superior quality and highest customer satisfaction. The success and achievements of the company are due to the vision and keen business sense of the founder and Chairman of the Board, Ross Farnsworth, Sr. a native of Arizona.

Besides overseeing the Farnsworth Companies, Mr. Farnsworth’s interests extend to the betterment of the community as evidenced by his support and direct involvement in various civic projects. He has served as a member of the Mesa City Council, Mesa Chamber of Commerce, Maricopa County Community College Board of Governors, as well as on the board of the Theodore Roosevelt Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Over the decades, his other special fundraising projects have included Mesa United Way, PREHAB of Arizona Foundation and LaMesita Shelter, a homeless shelter for families in the East Valley.
